National Geographic Learning and the company "Linguist" invited schoolchildren to participate in the "Small Breaks, Positive Outcomes" contest, held in honor of World Mental Health Day. Participants were presented with nine real-life scenarios where it is important to pause, reflect on one’s own reaction, and find a solution that considers both personal needs and the feelings of others.
In their entries—written in English—participants shared strategies for responding to criticism, setting personal boundaries, managing anxiety, and finding a balance between studying, socializing, and rest.
Our lyceum students also shared their thoughts on how to handle these situations.
