On March 4, King Danylo University held an English language competition for students in grades 8–11 to receive grants for free education. The competition is initiated by the Father Ivan Lutskyi Foundation, which implements a grant program for the development and support of gifted students. The competition tasks included testing listening skills, as well as knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
“This year we have a large number of participants, which indicates an increasing interest of young people in self-development and learning English. I am pleasantly surprised by the level of preparation of the students. "Many of them demonstrated solid knowledge and received high scores, which is the result of their hard work and professional support from teachers," noted Alina Dushkevych, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Philology and Business Communications at the University.
Students from our lyceum, like every year, also joined the tests.
4 березня в Університеті Короля Данила відбувся конкурс з англійської мови для учнів 8–11 класів на отримання грантів на безкоштовне навчання. Конкурс ініціює Фонд отця Івана Луцького, який реалізовує грантову програму для розвитку та підтримки обдарованої учнівської молоді. Завдання конкурсу охоплювали перевірку навичок аудіювання, а також знань із граматики та лексики.
«Цього року маємо велику кількість учасників, що свідчить про щораз більший інтерес молоді до саморозвитку і вивчення англійської. Я приємно вражена рівнем підготовки учнів. Багато з них продемонстрували ґрунтовні знання та отримали високі бали, що є результатом їхньої наполегливої праці та професійної підтримки вчителів», – зазначила викладачка кафедри іноземної філології та бізнес-комунікацій УКД Аліна Душкевич.
Учні нашого ліцею, як і щороку, також долучились до випробувань.
