Local newspaper

Master English creatively is the name of the article about our school English week that was published in the local newspaper Slovo Narodu. The article described all the activities that took place during the week.

Опановуємо англійську творчо - це назва статті про наш шкільний тижлень англійської мови, яка була опублікована в місцевій газеті Слово народу. У статті описані всі події, які мали місце протягом тижня.

ABC party

There was an ABC party in the 1В form, organized by their teacher Viktoria Solomka. Children's` parents and grandparents were also invited. Pupils showed them everything they have learnt during the year. They recited poems, sang songs, played games and performed dialogues. It was a very nice party. All small participants were exited and the adults were happy seeing the results of the work.

Учні 1 Б класу були учасниками свята ABC, організованого учителем Вікторією Соломкою. На нього були також запрошені батьки, бабусі та і дідусі. Учні показали їм все, що вони навчилися протягом року. Вони читали вірші, співали пісні, грали в ігри і виконували діалоги. Це був дуже хороший захід. Всі  маленькі учасники були задоволені, а дорослі були щасливі бачити результати роботи.

Brain ring

Seventh formers showed their knowledge and skills during the brain-ring «Want to know», organized by their teacher Iryna Mazur. Four teams resolved problems, answered the questions, solved riddles, wrote dictations, find synonyms and associations to words, guessed the secret of the "grey box" demonstrating knowledge of English. To reach the finals, participants had to recall material from cultural studies, geography, history and mathematics. The captains not only coordinated the work of their teams, but also themselves competed in a battle of captains.

The winner of the competition was the team of the 7th -A form «Lemons», the captain Ptashnyk Sofia.

Семикласники показували свої знання і уміння під час проведення брейн-рингу «Want to know», який організувала учитель Ірина Мазур . Чотири команди розв’язували завдання, відповідали на питання, відгадували загадки, писали диктант, знаходили синоніми та асоціації до слів, розгадували секрет «сірої скриньки», демонструючи володіння англійською мовою. Щоб дійти до фіналу, учасники мали пригадати матеріал з країнознавства, географії, історії та математики.

Капітани не тільки координували роботу своїх команд, але й самі змагались у битві капітанів.

Переможцем у змаганні стала команда 7 – А класу «Lemons», капітан Пташник Софія.

Wallpapers

Involving students in the out-of-class work stimulates their interest for learning English as well as enlarges their knowledge.

Different forms of this work were introduced to students of different age levels. All school students were participating in doing projects. They coped with the task very well demonstrating both their knowledge of English and painting skills.

Students`wall newspapers adorn school walls throughout the whole week.

Залучення студентів в позакласнy роботу стимулює їх інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, а також розширює знання.

Різні форми цієї роботи були представлені учнями різних вікових категорій. Всі школярі брали участь у виконанні проектів. Вони впоралися із завданням дуже добре, демонструючи як свої знання англійської мови, так і навичок малювання.

Учнівські стінгазети прикрашали стіни школи упродовж цілого тижня.

Travelling around London

Have you ever been to London? There are a lot of things to see there.

The pupils of the 5th forms together with their teacher Iryna Mazur had an opportunity to be on the imaginary tour there. We could see many places of interest in the pictures of the presentation. Several pupils gave comments about everything that was shown. They read interesting facts and stories about famous buildings, outstanding people and popular places. The texts were accompanied with the dialogues which were acted by the pupils. On completion children answered the questions of the quiz and shared their opinions and impressions.

The tour has finished and all the participants got new knowledge on the topic and encouragement to deepen them.

Ви коли-небудь були в Лондоні? Є багато речей, як можна побачити там.

Учні 5-их класів разом з учителем Іриною Мазур мали можливість побувати в уявному турі там. Ми могли бачити багато цікавих місць на картинках презентації. Кілька учнів давали коментарі з приводу всього того, що було показано. Вони читали цікаві факти та історії про знамениті будівлі, видатних людей і популярні місця. Тексти супроводжувалися діалогами, які розіграли учнями. На закінчення діти відповідали на запитання вікторини та поділилися своїми думками і враженнями.

Тур закінчився, і всі учасники отримали нові знання з цієї теми і заохочення їх поглибити.

Shakespeare

Students of high school were shown the film about William Shakespeare whose 400th anniversary of death is widely marked all over the world.

The film was followed by the discussion organised by the teacher of English Oksana Galabura. Strutynska Mariana, Matiytsiv Ivanna and Filipskykh Olha (9-C) presented interesting materials on Shakespeare`s life and his creative work. The presentation was shown to and highly appreciated by the pupils of 9-10 forms.

Thus, all these activities proved the fact that learning a foreign language promotes the developing of a personality.

Учням старшої школи представили фільм про Вільяма Шекспіра, чиє 400-річчя з часу смерті широко відзначається у всьому світі.  

Фільм супроводжувався дискусією, організованою учителем англійської мови Оксаною Галабурою. Струтинська Маріана, Матійців Іванна і Філіпських Ольга (9-В) представили цікаві матеріали про життя і творчість Шекспіра. Презентація була показана учням 9-10 класів, які високо оцінили її.

Таким чином, всі ці заходи довели той факт, що вивчення іноземної мови сприяє розвитку особистості.

Spring is coming

Pupils of the 2nd forms participated in the festival of poetry and art «Spring is coming». On the eve every participant had to draw a picture of spring. Our festive class was decorated with these pictures.

The presenters of the event the pupils of the 7th form Ptashnyk Sofia and Maxim Maksiom under the guidance of English teachers Iryna Mazur and Bohdana Kostyshyn held a spectacular event. Pupils recited poems in English, played games and solved puzzles. We remembered studied vocabulary, listened and understood speech, answered questions. The activities of the children knew no bounds.

In memory of the festival all the participants received certificates.

Учні 2-х класів прийняли участь у святі поезії та мистецтва «Spring is coming». Напередодні кожен учасник мав намалювати малюнок про весну. Роботами учнів був оздоблений святковий клас.

Ведучі дійства семикласники Пташник Софія та Максьом Максим під керівництвом вчителів англійської мови Ірини Мазур та Богдани Костишин провели захоплюючий захід. Школярі декламували вірші англійською мовою, грали ігри та відгадували загадки. Ми пригадували вивчену лексику, слухали та розуміли мовлення, відповідали на запитання.  Активності дітей не було меж.

На згадку про свято усі учасники отримали сертифікати.
