Multitest

Anti-School invited schoolchildren in grades 5–11 to take part in the All-Ukrainian Online Olympiad. The competition took place from November 14 to 18 and had the form of a multi-test covering four disciplines: mathematics, Ukrainian, English, and logic.

Several children from our lyceum also tried their hand at the test. 

Антишкола запрошувала школярів і школярок, які навчаються в 5–11-х класах прийняти участь у всеукраїнській онлайн-олімпіаді. Конкурс відбувався з 14 до 18 листопада й мав вигляд мультитесту, який охоплював чотири дисципліни: математику, українську мову, англійську мову та логіку.

Кілька дітей з нашого ліцею також спробували себе у тесті.

Ukrainian language quiz

Anyone who speaks our native language could take part in the online quiz ‘Ukrainian Language is Our Treasure’ dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language in the last decade of October. The tasks were not easy, but it was worth the effort!

Взяти участь у конкурсі у формі онлайн вікторини “Українська мова – наш скарб” до Дня української писемності та мови міг кожен, хто говорить рідною мовою, у останню декаду жовтня  Завдання були геть нелегкі, але спроба того вартувала!

Color Up Peace

The American House in Kyiv invited to visit the exhibition ‘Color Up Peace: Ukrainian Style Peacemaking’. It is a peacebuilding initiative at the crossroads of art and technology, which uses artistic innovation as a tool for fostering peace. The exhibition displays a collection of photographs from around the world that capture the essence of peace. Each image has been transformed by the artist Lisa Glybchenko into coloring pages through digital tools, inviting people to contribute their own vision of peace through color. 

The initiative aims to prompt reflection on the meaning and experience of peace. Additionally, it creates opportunities for sharing visions of peace through digital and visual means, challenges the proliferation of violent imagery in the media and popular culture, and employs digital image transformation as a tool for democratic design and implementation of a peaceful future. 

Американський дім у Києві запросив відвідати виставку «Color Up Peace: миротворення в українському стилі». Це миротворча ініціатива на перетині мистецтва та технологій. Виставка зібрала фотографії-роздуми людей із різних куточків світу, які відображають їхнє бачення і значення миру. За допомогою цифрових інструментів мисткиня Ліза Глибченко перетворила їх на розмальовки, щоб через мистецькі практики інші могли долучитися до роздумів про мир, осмислити його значення і налагодити культурний діалог у світовій спільноті.

Ініціатива має на меті спонукати до роздумів про значення та досвід миру. Крім того, вона створює можливості для обміну баченням миру за допомогою цифрових та візуальних засобів, кидає виклик поширенню зображень насильства в медіа та масовій культурі, а також використовує цифрову трансформацію зображень як інструмент для демократичного проектування та втілення мирного майбутнього.

Olympіad I stage

All-Ukrainian Olympiads are a kind of intellectual competitions to encourage students to study subjects. The I stage of the Olympiad in English was held in October. Among the winners are Solomiia Kolotailo (9th grade), Dzvenyslava Ostrohliad and Khrystyna Ostrohliad (10th grade), a teacher Mazur IM

Всеукраїнські олімпіади — це різновид інтелектуальних змагань, покликаний заохотити учнів до вивчення предметів. І етап олімпіади з англійської мови проводився у жовтні. Серед переможців - Колотайло Соломія (9 клас), Острогляд Дзвенислава та Острогляд Христина (10 клас), вчитель Мазур І.М.

Вітаємо всіх: і учасників, і переможців з проходженням цього змагання!

Languages for Peace

Every year since 2001, the European Day of Languages, which takes place on 26 September, celebrates the richness of languages that coexist in Europe and beyond.

This year's slogan is ‘Languages for Peace’. It is of particular importance for Ukraine, which is heroically fighting for its independence.

One of the many activities organised this year was the creation of a poster. Students of our lyceum used only one word – PEACE – but in different languages to show our main wish to stop the war.

Щороку, починаючи з 2001 року, Європейський день мов, який відзначається 26 вересня, святкує багатство мов, що співіснують у Європі та за її межами.

Цьогорічне гасло – «Мови заради миру». Воно набуває особливої ваги для України, яка героїчно бореться за свою незалежність.

Одним з багатьох заходів, організованих цього року, було створення плакату. Учні нашого ліцею використовували лише одне слово - МИР - але різними мовами, щоб показати наше головне бажання припинити війну.
