Село моє, для мене ти єдине. Фінал

Цьогорічний конкурс проектів «Село моє, для мене ти єдине» з теми для пошуково-дослідницької роботи "Моя школа" завершився. Протягом першого етапу конкурсу, який проходив у жовтні-січні, учасники збирали та оформлювали матеріали. До уваги журі було представлено велику кількість проектів, ще більше розмаїтих, аніж минулого року. Усі роботи були по-своєму оригінальні і значущі та переможців було десять. 

27 березня команди учнів та їх керівників-учителів зі шкіл-переможниць першого етапу зібрались на дійство, яке відбувалось у стінах Богородчанської ЗОШ І-ІІІ ст. №2. Їх завданням було підготуватися до усного захисту своїх проектів.

З вуст школярів звучала англійська мова ( і не тільки – школярі показали уміння й німецькою мовою, а пісні звучали і рідною також). На екрані змінювали один одного презентації, які демонстрували бурхливе шкільне життя. Звичайно, що задоволені були усі – вчителі-керівники, вихованці-виконавці та й глядачі-учасники. Результат себе виправдав: ми знову переконуємося у тому, що шкільні роки є найкращими, безтурботними і насиченими. 

Але підсумком кожного конкурсу є фіналісти. Отже, 

І місце розділили між собою команди Богородчанської ЗОШ І-ІІІ ст. № 1 та Богородчанської ЗОШ І-ІІІ ст. 2, 

ІІ місце отримали учасники Глибоківської ЗОШ І-II ст. та Хмелівської ЗОШ І-ІІ ст., 

ІІІ місце – представники Похівської ЗОШ І-II ст., Глибівського НВК та Підгірської ЗОШ І-II ст. 

Усі учасники завершального туру будуть нагороджені грамотами та відзнаками.

Shevchenko's Days

In our school there is a tradition to carry out the week dedicated to the well-known poet. Both in Ukrainian and in English we organize different events. 

This year we organized several activities connecting with Shevcnenko`s poems. Children had an opportunity to read "Testament" not only in English but in other languages. The pupils did their best in reading the English translations of different poem. They could show the knowledge of poems trying to find the Ukrainian equivalents of the English translations in the quiz. Some pupils did a research work: they had to find and present some interesting information about poet's life. And the pupils of the whole school could listen to reciting translations of the poems on the meeting.

International Mother Language Day

On February, 21 the whole world celebrated an International Mother Language Day. To mark this holiday the teachers organized different activities for pupils.

The main idea was to get acquainted with the beauty of different languages. So, the pupils of every class fulfilled various tasks. The pupils of the 5th-6th forms learnt how to say "Hello" and ''Good bye" in many languages. Children of the 7th forms played "Alphabet Games" in English and Ukrainian. Our 9th formers got some curious information about the English, German and Ukrainian languages. Also they tried to understand and find Ukrainian equvalents to the "Idioms of the world".

The pupils of the 10th form had to do different tasks with one text about the holiday (phrase match,  reading gap fill, choose the correct word, multiple choice, spelling, put the text back together, scrambled sentences). 

  It was interesting to have a cultural lesson. We learnt that there some words that sound equally in different languages but have another meaning ([rot] in Ukrainian means a part of the face but in German - red, [buk] in Ukrainian is a tree while in English is not).

Do you know what the palindromes are? Our pupil know now. These are the phrases we can read the same backwords, like "Madam, I'm Adam".  

It was interesting and unusual to read words of different languages using Latin letters. It was funny when children had heard the words previously but only that day learnt their meaning. It was amazing(espesially for the teacher) when the pupils could name the country looking on the flag. (How did they learn them???). It was great when we could hear how children say hello or bye on different languages on the breaks (but the rest of the school didn't know these words).

All the activities were funny but useful at the same time.
