Mental Health

Mental health is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes their own abilities, can cope with the stresses of life, work productively, and contribute to their community. According to the World Health Organization , it is not merely the absence of illness or disorder, but a state of complete mental and social well-being.

Emma Derenko, a student at Carpathian University, conducted a training session for 11th-grade students. They discussed the key signs of good mental health, when and from whom to seek help, and how to maintain mental health on a daily basis. The event concluded on a cheerful, emotional note as the participants practiced giving and accepting compliments.

Ментальне здоров’я — це стан благополуччя, за якого людина усвідомлює свої здібності, може протистояти життєвим стресам, продуктивно працювати та робити внесок у життя своєї громади. За визначенням Всесвітньої організації охорони здоров’я (ВООЗ), це не просто відсутність хвороб чи розладів, а повноцінний психічний і соціальний комфорт.

Студентка Карпатського університету Емма Деренько провела тренінг для 11ти-класників, на якому обговорили основні ознаки доброго ментального здоров'я, коли та до кого варто звернутися по допомогу, як підтримувати ментальне здоров'я щодня. Завершили дійство емоційно весело – вчилися говорити та приймати компліменти.

Teachers' Day

Teacher's Day is celebrated with special warmth, festivity, and a unique twist…

On the eve of the holiday, the lyceum held a Student Self-Government Day. Students from the 10th and 11th grades stepped into the role of teachers—conducting lessons and experiencing the responsibilities of an educator firsthand—and likely gained an even deeper appreciation for just how challenging, yet incredibly important, a teacher's work truly is.

And then came the time for greetings and heartfelt emotions!

День вчителя відзначають особливо тепло, святково й трішки незвично…

Напередодні свята у ліцеї відбувся День учнівського самоврядування. Учні 10–11 класів спробували себе в ролі вчителів — проводили уроки, відчували на собі відповідальність педагога й, мабуть, ще краще зрозуміли, наскільки непроста, але надзвичайно важлива праця вчителя. 

А далі — час привітань і щирих емоцій!

Music in our life

 10th form

Music plays an enormous role in our life. Our teens not only listen to it ebery day in different situations but play the musical instruments, sing and dance... and speak about it in our English lessons.

Музика відіграє величезну роль у нашому житті. Наші підлітки не лише слухають її щодня в різних ситуаціях, а й грають на музичних інструментах, співають і танцюють... а також говорять про неї на уроках англійської мови.

 11th - A form

Undoubtedly, education plays a significant role in each of our lives. School students, in particular, should understand this. Therefore, we have attempted to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the teaching and learning of the subjects chosen by each child and to offer our ideas for improving the learning process.

Без сумніву, освіта має велике значення у житті кожного з нас. Це особливо повинні розуміти школярі. Тому ми спробували визначити сильні та слабкі сторони викладання/вивчення обраного кожною дитиною предмету та запропонувати свої думки щодо покращення навчання.

The European Day of Languages

We joined in celebrating the European Day of Languages on 25 September. This year’s theme, “Languages unite”, highlights the power of languages to unite us through the world. This is a great opportunity to show the importance of knowing different languages for getting to know different cultures and different ideas, opening up a wide world of possibilities.

Children participated in different activities which were carried out individually, in groups, and together with a class. We explored languages through games, linguistic puzzles, riddles and much more. 

The 5th formers were involved in the  language challenge.  Students completed a series of short, fun language “missions”.  Their tasks were to identify words in Ukrainian that are the same as in English, to recite a short poem in English, to count from 1 to 10 in Ukrainian,  German and English, to recall the words after the pictures, to read "Hello" in different languages, to create the poster “The Unity Land”.

The 7th formers played a translation spoilt telephone game, searched for the international words and solved the alphabet puzzle.

The 10th formers created a poster illustrating this year’s EDL-motto.

The 11th formers learnt some facts they might not know about the world of languages, they tried to search Ukrainian and English idioms with the same meanings, and found the sayings about languages.

25 вересня ми долучилися до святкування Європейського дня мов. Цьогорічна тема — «Мови об’єднують» — підкреслює здатність мов єднати нас у всьому світі. Це чудова нагода продемонструвати, наскільки важливим є знання різних мов для пізнання інших культур та ідей, адже це відкриває широкий світ можливостей.

Діти брали участь у різноманітних заходах, що проводилися індивідуально, у групах та всім класом. Ми досліджували мови через ігри, лінгвістичні головоломки, загадки та багато іншого.

Учні 5-х класів долучилися до мовного челенджу. Вони виконували серію коротких і цікавих мовних «місій»: шукали слова, що звучать однаково в українській та англійській мовах; декламували короткий вірш англійською; рахували від 1 до 10 українською, німецькою та англійською; запам’ятовували слова за зображеннями; читали слово «привіт» різними мовами та створювали плакат «Країна єдності».

Семикласники грали у гру «Зіпсований телефон» (з перекладом), шукали інтернаціональні слова та розгадували головоломку з абеткою.

Учні 10-х класів створили плакат, що ілюструє цьогорічне гасло Європейського дня мов.

Одинадцятикласники дізналися нові факти про світ мов, шукали українські та англійські ідіоми з однаковим значенням, а також добирали вислови про мови.

The Antyshkola English Olympiad

The Antyshkola Olympiad is an educational event designed to foster the intellectual abilities of schoolchildren, allowing thousands of students to participate from anywhere in the world.

This English Olympiad is open to students in grades 1 through 11. Tasks are tailored to each specific grade level, featuring a 16-question test, a 45-minute time limit, and 11 levels of difficulty corresponding to the grade.

Participants receive personalized A4-sized diplomas and certificates—complete with performance analytics suitable for a portfolio—and have the chance to win prizes and bonuses. 

We were also among the competition participants, testing our English skills and competing against peers from across Ukraine.

Олімпіада від Антишколи - це освітня подія, спрямована на розвиток інтелектуальних здібностей школярів, що надає можливість тисячам учнів брати участь в олімпіаді з будь-якої точки світу. 

Олімпіада з англійської є для школярів з 1 до 11 класу. Завдання розроблені окремо для кожного класу: 16 завдань у тесті, 45 хвилин на проходження, 11 рівнів складності — по класу.

Учні отримують іменні дипломи та сертифікати формату А4 з аналітикою для портфоліо, а також розігруються призи та бонуси. 

Ми - серед учасників конкурсу також, перевіряли свою англійську та змагалися з однолітками з усієї України.
