Teacher`s Day

Teacher's Day is a special day to appreciate teachers and includes celebrations to honour them for their special contribution in this field. It is celebrated in Ukraine every year on the first Sunday of October. Traditionally, teachers receive greetings from students and their parents on Friday, the last working day before the holiday. According to tradition, Self-Government Day is held in our lyceum - a day when high school students are at the teachers' place and get their first teaching experience.

These are our "English trachers".

День вчителя є особливим днем для вдячності вчителям і включає урочистості, щоб вшанувати їх за особливий внесок у цій галузі. Щороку в першу неділю жовтня в Україні вітають вчителів. Традиційно привітання від учнів та їх батьків викладачі отримують у п'ятницю, в останній робочий день перед святом. За традицією у нашому ліцеї проходить День самоврядування - день, коли старшокласники можуть побувати на місці вчителів і отримати свій перший досвід викладання.

Languages in my school

At the Council of Europe’s initiative, the European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year on 26 September - together with the European Commission. Let's come together on the European Day of Languages to celebrate the languages that enrich our classrooms, schools, and communities!

How many languages are spoken in your classroom or school? For this challenge we are inviting you to create a poster showcasing all the languages present in your learning environment.

For the initiative targeted specifically at schools, the idea is to create a creative and eye-catching poster that reflects the languages present in your classroom or school. This can include both the languages you are learning and the languages spoken by your classmates.

З ініціативи Ради Європи щорічно 26 вересня спільно з Європейською комісією відзначається Європейський день мов. Давайте зберемося разом у Європейський день мов, щоб відзначити мови, які збагачують наші класи, школи та спільноти!

Скількома мовами розмовляють у вашому класі чи школі? Для цього завдання ми запрошуємо вас створити плакат, який демонструватиме всі мови, наявні у вашому навчальному середовищі.

Для ініціативи, спрямованої саме на школи, ідея полягає в тому, щоб створити креативний і привабливий плакат, який відображає мови, які присутні у вашому класі чи школі. Це може включати як мови, які ви вивчаєте, так і мови, якими розмовляють ваші однокласники.

Our first lessons

«Our first lessons» was the competition from National Geographic Learning publishing house in Ukraine and Linguist company. The competition, dedicated to the beginning of the academic year, aims to stimulate creative thinking, develop language skills and support interest in learning English among students. We also participated by sharing our associations about the first English lessons this year. 

«Our first lessons»  - конкурс від видавництва National Geographic Learning в Україні та компанії «Лінгвіст». Конкурс присвячений початку навчального року та має на меті стимулювання творчого мислення, розвиток мовних навичок та підтримку інтересу до вивчення англійської мови серед учнів.  Ми також взяли участь, поділившись своїми асоціаціями про перші уроки англійської цього року.

Project Competition 2023

The Project Competition is back, and this year we’re asking students to design a poster promoting good health and wellbeing.

We’d like students to imagine they are wellbeing superheroes, with the power to improve health and wellbeing. What would they do in a day to connect with others? How would they stay active? What new skill would they learn? How would they practice generosity and kindness?

The stydents of our lyceum also share their ideas.

Конкурс проектів повертається, і цього року ми просимо студентів створити плакат, який пропагує міцне здоров’я та благополуччя. Ми хотіли б, щоб студенти уявляли себе супергероями, що благополуччя, які мають силу покращувати здоров’я та благополуччя. 

Що б вони робили за день, щоб спілкуватися з іншими? Як би вони залишалися активними? Які нові навички вони навчилися б? Як би вони проявляли щедрість і доброту?

Студенти нашого ліцею також поділилися своїми ідеями.

Olympiad "Na Urok" - spring

The last chance to train the langiage this year was to pass the Olympiad. The largest number of participants of all times - 45 - took part there with 30 winners. Congratulations to us)

Останній шанс, щоб потренувати мову цього року, - проходження олімпіади. Найбільша кількість учасників за всі роки - 45 - взяла участь, серед них - 30 переможців. Вітання нам)
