Семінар вчителів німецької мови

15 жовтня на базі бібліотеки іноземних мов м. Івано-Франківська відбувся семінар учителів німецької мови. Учасники семінару дізналися про співпрацю бібліотеки та Goethe - Institut. Працівники закладу надали цікаву інформацію про те, які ресурси пропонує Goethe - Institut для вивчення німецької мови. Надзвичайно цікавими були презентації, рольова гра, дружнє спілкування. Позитивні емоції залишилися у всіх учасників семінару.

English Olympiad. Round I

7 жовтня 2019 року відбувся І тур Всеукраїнської учнівської олімпіади з англійської мови. Завдання школярі 8-11 класів виконували відповідно до вимог з аудіювання, читання, усного та писемного мовлення.

A school stage of the All-Ukrainian pupils' Olympiad in English was held on October 7. Students of the 8-11forms had the opportunity to test their knowledge by performing tasks for listening, writing, speaking and reading. The task of the jury is to determine best of the best! - the winners of this competition, which will represent schools at the district level.

Express Teacher’s Day in Ivano-Frankivsk

8 жовтня 2019 року проведено семінар «Формування мовної та мовленнєвої компетентності учнів на уроках англійської мови» для керівників методичних об’єднань вчителів англійської  мови  та  вчителів, які викладають англійську мову у 1-11- их класах відповідно до плану роботи ОІППО . Заняття проходили за участі відомих тренерів Daniel Morris та Alex Roditis з Великобританіі. Це був чудовий досвід та спілкування з старими/новими друзями!

Homework in the 21st Century: Ideas to Excite and Engage EFL Learners

Let’s face it, very few people really like homework, especially the traditional sort, which can become highly repetitive and heavy on memorisation. However, we are now well into the 21st century and it is time that homework caught up. In this session, we will look at different approaches to homework, which make use of modern technology and modern classroom methodology. These techniques will interest and engage the learner, leaving nothing for the dog to eat.

Breaking the Sound of Silence

Developing speaking skills in a ELT class full of nonnative students can be tricky and complicated for many nonnative teachers. Fighting the reluctance of students to perform speaking activities may have a more compound solution than we possibly imagine. The speaker will analyze why most of the students don’t want to speak, will try to give some real, tangible remedies on how a teacher can cope with similar situations and will stress why thorough speaking practice should be “a must have” of our syllabus, starting from the very early years of learning.

АТМП у новому навчальному році

АТМП функціонують при Івано-Франківському обласному інституті післядипломної педагогічної освіти як інноваційна форма підвищення кваліфікації педагогічних працівників. Цього навчального року АТМП розпочали роботу 25 вересня.  Ректор ІФОІППО вручив сертифікати керівникам АТМП. Ті у свою чергу представили склад майстерень.

Керівником авторської творчої майстерні вчителів англійської мови є Граціанський Володимир Анатолійович, координатор - Стрільчик Галина Дмитрівна, консультант - Косенко Юлія Володимирівна.

Проблема: соціальні мережі як віртуальне освітнє середовище у викладанні англійської мови.

Серед учасників – учителі нашого району Ірина Мазур та Іванна Рудяк.

ACWP functions as an innovative form of professional development of pedagogical staff. ATMP began its work on September 25 this academic year. The Rector of Institute presented the certificates to the heads of ATMP who presented the members of their workshops.

The head of the author's creative workshop of teachers of English is Volodymyr Gratsiansky, the coordinator is Halyna Strilchyk, the consultant is Yulia Kosenko. Our issue is “Social networks as a virtual learning environment in English language teaching”.  Among the participants are the teachers of our district - Iryna Mazur and Ivanna Rudiak.

Teacher Training Day from Dinternal Education

Серія методичних семінарів від Dinternal Education для вчителів англійської мови продовжилась в Івано-Франківську 10 вересня.

Методисти провели два інтерактивні заняття, на яких ми дізнались про:

⠀⠀✅⠀Пріоритетні методи розвитку комунікативних умінь маленьких учнів через усні види діяльності, гру та інтеракцію;

⠀⠀✅⠀Ефективне використання аудіоматеріалу для пришвидчення процесу вивчення та запам’ятовування лексики.

Усі учасники заходу отримали сертифікати на підтвердження участі. А також відбулися розіграші лотерей, де щасливчики отримали книги у подарунок.

Методична майстерня

Методична майстерня вчителів іноземних мов працювала над проблемою "Нові підходи до вивчення іноземної мови в умовах реалізації Нової української школи". Під час науково - методичного інформування М.Костюк, О.Галабура, І.Лобода, Л.Кріцак, Н.Двібородчин, І.Волочій, І.Мазур поділилися власним досвідом викладання мови та окреслили нові напрямки та завдання на новий навчальний рік.

Протягом методичного діалогу вчителі проаналізували навчально- методичне забезпечення, обговорили особливості та стратегї роботи, підвели підсумки роботи у минулому році, узагальнили нову інформацю, опрацювали основні нормативні документи.

Session 1: Shaping learners now and for the future

The focus of primary English teaching is not only on English, but also on teaching “the whole child”. This not only helps in our classes, but it also makes our students lifelong learners and prepares them for being successful in their future. Modern coursebooks and the recent school reforms focus on both of these things. Making students better learners in the English classroom and giving them the skills they will need in the future.

This session looked at how Family and Friends and Bright Ideas, combined with the new school reforms help teachers to address these issues.

Participates left with new ideas and activities about focussing on Global Skills, making learning more student centred and improving the learning environment so our students get the best start possible.

Session 2: Teacher wellbeing 

Demands on teachers and stress levels seem to be ever increasing. While teachers are offered a range of professional development, it normally focuses on content and pedagogy and teachers are often left to work out the social, emotional and cognitive demands on their own. How can teachers promote calm, relaxed, engaging learning environments when they are feeling stressed and overwhelmed? The short answer is they can’t. Or they sacrifice their own well-being in the pursuit of this outcome.

Teachers need to make sure they have enough internal resources to keep on top of their own well-being. They need the skills to take care of themselves first.

In this session these ideas were explored and teachers were given a range of simple techniques that can be applied to their everyday lives to reduce stress, increase relaxation and enjoyment and help teachers feel more present while in the classroom.
